Biography
Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma is an Ayurvedic physician and a former Additional Director of the Department of Ayurveda, Government of Rajasthan. He possesses over 42 years of clinical experience, having served as a Medical Officer in the government sector for 36 years following the completion of his BAMS degree. He is a second-generation Ayurvedic doctor and the son of a renowned Ayurvedic physician and freedom fighter.
He had a keen interest in learning Ayurveda from childhood, with a particular passion for *Kayachikitsa* (Internal Medicine) and *Rasa Shastra* (Ayurvedic Pharmaceutics). He acquired his knowledge of Ayurveda both at home and in college, while also imbibing strong values and a compassionate attitude towards others from his father.
He has treated numerous patients suffering from severe and chronic conditions—such as cancer, heart failure, liver failure, kidney failure, and pancreatitis—using both integrated and purely Ayurvedic treatment approaches. Patients who, 20–25 years ago, had a very slim chance of survival are alive and healthy today.
